2020 IS CANCELLED (Animation Blog)


Because of the current situation, I declare 2020 cancelled. I wasn't able to use the clay 3D printer and the last project is totally different than what it was supposed to be. So here I am making animated gifs in Rhino. 

These were the patterns that I used to test the Grasshopper definition. Piped geometry takes AWHILE to process while surfaces were much faster but it was too plain for my liking. 


I created a horn using circles and octagons then used loft which resulted to polysurfaces.
 Using polysurfaces as the surface to map unto was a disaster.


I tried it on a simpler shape and it still didn't work.


So I used revolve instead of sweep and loft and it worked for this shape.


Then I redid my original shape again using loft but with circles instead of octagons and it works better. This is what it looked like using the eye surface geometry:
